
On December 1, 2025, Pan Feng, Vice Chairman of CEATEC and President of ECECDC, held a working meeting with Suo Peng, Minister Counsellor of the Permanent Mission of China to the European Union. The two sides had in-depth discussions on a range of topics, including China-Europe cultural exchanges, economic and trade investment cooperation, and the promotion of the China-Europe Geographical Indications Agreement. They also exchanged views on advancing cooperation between cities with high external investment demand, such as Nanjing and Baotou, in the context of China-Europe relations. The two sides agreed to jointly advance the organization of the China-Europe Geographical Indications Agreement Forum and the China-Germany (China-Europe) Hidden Champions Forum in Shunyi District, Beijing, and to actively prepare for the specific arrangements of the China-Europe Business Leaders and Former Senior Officials Dialogue in Nanjing. Huang Wei, Secretary General of CEATEC-EUWC, participated in the meeting via video, and Lu Li, Executive Secretary-General of CEATEC-EUWC, accompanied Pan Feng in the meeting.
